Rangers sweep! Were any of y'all there?

What a game by the "Runnin' Rangers"! Six stolen bases, a suicide squeeze, a great spot start, and no mercy shown by the 'pen.

I wish I'd been among the lucky 40,000 who were there to wave the brooms!

Hi, Texanne,
I did not go to the game, but I was watching on FSW. The Rangers are playing terrific baseball now - wonderful pitching, outstanding defense, and amazing baserunning. And they basically did all this without the home run. I especially liked the perfectly executed suicide squeeze - that's good fundamental baseball.
I don't have another game scheduled until the middle of August - I think it's the Twins this time. Sure would be nice if the Angels would lose a few along the way!

.... wish I had been there - agree Wash did a great coaching job and the Rangers found a way to win like they have most of the season and against one of the best teams in the league. Rangers are generally beating the better teams in the league - R Sox, LAA, TB, etc. for the most part, but they seem to struggle vs. mediocre and poor teams at times. It would help in the second half of the season to pound the medicore & poor teams more often while LAA helps out with some loses....
