Rangers Starting Rotation Predictions/Desires

1. Rich Harden
2. Scott Feldman
3. Tommy Hunter
4. Colby Lewis
5. Brandon McCarthy

I know, I know... no Harrison, no Feliz. Many of you want Feliz as a closer. I do not. I want 180+ innings out of this guy eventually and its time to start grooming him into that role. However, for the first time in my memory, we have a glut of starters and Feliz will likely start in the pen. I further want Derek Holland to start in OKC. He will be needed to come up for McCarthy's inevitable injury before June.

Wesser, I like your first four, but I'd like to hold judgment until we see how Matt Harrison throws in Spring Training. When he was healthy, he pitched well - and if he can regain it, I think he brings more potential than Brandon.

Those may end being the best five by the end of spring training, but I sure would like to see at least one LHP (Harrison, Holland, maybe even C.J.) earn a spot in the rotation.

I am intrigued by CJ to the rotation. He has great stuff, but his mistakes are way too costly late in ballgames. Just don't think that there is a place on the rotation for him. BTW, Nolan was on the radio this morning saying that the Rangers are actively interested in Ben Sheets, If his health is not an issue, then I think Holland will spend the entire year at AAA or maybe the Pen.
