All you have to do to see how bad the Rangers want this thing is watch the plays Andrus and Kinsler made in the bottom of the 4th.

Oh yeah, and that little mistake the Home Plate Blue made in the first which the R's gladly capitalized on, and on yeah, beating the tar outta Wakefield.

Go Rangers!

H69 - good points fellow zealot.

7-2. Hunter gets a nice W. I didn't see all of the game but I saw it early on and agree there seemed to be a real hunger to win... perhaps show everyone the debacle vs. the birds was not the real Rangers. It did give me great pleasure to see Wakefield peppered over and over by the Ranger hitters.

OK, maybe my earlier post was premature and I need to back away from the ledge... Go Rangers!!!

'Twas a good win - the Rangers are going to Boston at the right time, with the Sox in bad health. The Sox would have a shorter list if they simply published a lsit of players not on the DL...

The starting pitchers need to ramp it up - this is the time for quality starts and eating innings. With the temps near 100 at The Ballpark for a few weeks to come, saving wear and tear on the bullpen becomes one of the keys to winning the West. The offense will do its job most of the time.

Love the result but still have some concerns about bats that aren't in the middle of the line-up. On a night where they put up 7 runs, there are still some huge holes.

Andrus 0-3
Davis 0-3
Borbon 0-4
Molina 1-4 (although the 1 was pretty sweet)

Those 4 guys combined for a 1 for 14 evening. Those guys struggle every night and typically when a few other guys do as well, like last night when Young (1-4) and Kinsler (1-5) didn't do much, the Rangers are in a tough spot. Luckily Cruz had a nice game for a change, and of course Hamilton and Guerrero dominated.

The wife and I were discussing the obviously small chance Molina could get a triple when I said, "well, at Fenway there is a slight chance given the bizarre dimensions." Then 3 seconds later it was "crack" and the ball was deflected right into the far corner that he needed!! Wow...he is slower than Mike Scioscia! He sure was seeing the ball well tonight though.

I thought he was going to expire on the base paths. I'm sure he needed oxygen afterwards. Let's hope he didn't have any serious injury. Who would've thought that would be said the way he was going before the break?

We were favorites the first two games and should be tomorrow night as well. It's really nice timing catching them at this point with all the injuries.

Yeah H69 - I too thought Molina was going to collapse during that hit. 8-4 vickery and 2 of 2 - let's get the on the road sweep of the sawx today!!!

We just need to get him some runs. And, obtw, couldn't he have pitched the 10th tonight? Arrrrgggghhhhh!!

3 out of 4 ain't bad, too bad that sorry Lee is 0-2 since coming over. We could have swept.

Yes, I'm kidding about Lee.

Hey, it could have been 4-4 but I will take 3 of 4 and go on to Dee-troit for some payback - time to get some revenge. Go Rangers!!!

So right, shoulda been a sweep. Eat that Sawx fans!! Watching Lee pitch on Saturday was a pleasure until the one fat pitch in the 9th but seriously, if you watched that you just had to drool at the control he has around the strike zone. It was amazing and as Rangers fans we have not seen that very much. Today I thought C.J. was getting sqeezed a bit but he also had some very nice control and it was a pleasure to see him fool most of the hitters.
