Rangers on Tuesday

Game 1 of the DH goes to the Rangers, 5-2. Nice job by Nippert, with lights-out support by Feliz and a nice ninth by Frankie. Good Guys leading 2-0, 4th inning, in Game 2.

A sweep of the DH would help make up for the debacle yesterday. Hope we have the right mojo recipe brewed up today. Ranger zealots, are you all out there tonight?

After a couple of weeks of high average hitting with no homers, Josh has brought out the big stick in Game 2 - two homers!

Hi, WorsterMan - Yep, nice going so far. O'Day certainly put out a mild fire in good style. Josh coming up in bottom of seven - wonder if he has a third homer in that bat?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch - Seattle off to an early 1-0 lead over the Angels.

Nice Mojo receipe you got goin' here HHD. Rangers desperately need a win the next couple of nights. I contend they have got to have a couple of 5-6 game winning streaks and with several sweeps if they are gonna win the wild card gig. Going .500 or above the next 30 days ain't gonna git 'er done.

Guys, I didn't want to upset the mojo. I got to watch only about an inning of the first game, and then the second started while I was teaching my aerobics class. By the time I got home, they had a lead and I didn't want to upset the applecart.

I am very happy right now!

Sorry, I was getting my zealotry on at a buddy's place. Great night. This night might be remembered as the night the season was saved. I just knew that things were going our way after Feliz's outing in Game 1. Damn.

Boston already won, Angels and Ms tied at 1 in the 6th...

Right now we're 74-58 with 30 games left; if we win 2 out of 3 the rest of the way, that puts us at 94 wins for the season. That would be a hell of a clip, and very well may still not be enough, but at least almost a quarter of our games left are against Anaheim...

We had a stretch back in early May where we went 13-2; we really, really need one of those right now. Our next 7 games are against 3 teams who are a combined 50 games under .500; that's a hell of a place to start...

Gotta keep in going, boyzo ... I have to teach a 3-hour class tonight and won't get home until after 9 p.m.

I'm counting on all the Rangers zealots on these boards to keep the good mojo going. We've got Hunter vs Richmond, who's 6-7, 4.32. We can take this guy!
