Can we get Colby some run support for crying out loud?!? It's a double insult to lose to an O's team with our former skipper now as their manager. Gotta at least take the next 2 of 3, else you go back home with your tail between your legs.
 
Flat out ugly. Wow, the big lead is coming in handy right about now. They will turn this around....maybe tomorrow???

We were visiting relatives so I missed this turkey. What is wrong with the bats all of a sudden? Gotta win this game today and get this thang turned 'round.
 
Just got in the house from replacing a cable and pulley on the garage door, and noticed that the Good Guys are up 1-0 in the bottom of four. Looks like Mitch Moreland hit a solo dinger. Rangers need to pile up some runs and put this one away - it's time to get back into the win column!

1-2-3 in bottom of four. Rangers coming up in top of five with Borbon, Andrus, and Young. If one of them can get on, it will set the table for Josh and Vlad. This would be the ideal time for a 3-4 run inning!

C.J. sailing along - 88 pitches thought six innings. No runs on two hits. But the Rangers have still scratched up only one run. C.J. may be good for two more innings if he can keep the pitch count in order, but it would be very nice to pad the lead a bit before turning it over to the bullpen.

FINALLY a "W" on Friday night vs. the birds. Good Guys 2-0 vicktree and CJ stops the madness of this road trip.

Excellent job by C.J. tonight for the 2-0 win. I'd still like to see an offensive outburst so the pitching staff can cruise to a win every now and then. Winning Saturday and Sunday would be a nice end to the road trip.

CJ was allsome tonite. This has been a great series so far for fans of great pitching and defense.

Angels lost, A's are trailing, R's win....As Richard Dreyfuss (Trotter) said in LET IT RIDE, "I'm having a very good day"
 
Cliff is 2-4 since the trade. He needs some rest down the stretch. The "rent a pitcher" practice of putting him on the bump every 5 days (regardless of off days for the team in between) doesn't appear to be working.

If we lose to Millwood today, this would probably be the low for this season. Go Rangers!
 
Nice win, today. Tommy got a nice bounce-back start, after struggling the last 3 outings.

Vlad breaks out with his first dong in over a month. Josh continues to rake.

Terrible road trip, overall, but nice to end it on a positive note.
 
Road trip ended with a 2-4 thud but gosh the R's needed this win on Sunday to get some positive MOJO back and stop the bleeding. Time to get refocused and energized - 33 games to clinch the division if I saw correctly.
 
definitely good to get win. tense until the end. luckily Neftali got his s together and slam the door. Would love to win 2 in a row tomorrow night, but with Harden v Twins will be rough. A win would be huge.

Five of seven would be a great homestand; four would be pretty good, as long as two of them come against the A'S. Need to beat the teams that are chasing them in the AL West.

Mrs. HHD and I have tickets for Friday evening. Any of you other Ranger zealots going to be there?
