this is interesting. I know, just a technicality, but the Red Sox have lost 4 in a row? Man, the what if game starts. What if Young and Hamilton hadn't been injured?

And the rest of the team going stone cold from the plate!

In hindsight, it was wide open in September, the Rangers just needed a decent month.

sorry but I already

Fellow Ranger zealots:

Remember the modest expectations we had when the season started. We would have been realistically happy with progress - a record somewhere near .500, a finish out of the AL West cellar, no dumb trades for quick fixes, and some development of the young pitching prospects. What we got - a second place finish, a winning record, and significant development of youngsters (Holland, Hunter, Borbon, Andrus, Feliz). And the team was in the pennant race until the last week of September.

Guys (and Texanne), this was a successful season. This team is about a year ahead of schedule. We need to see the ownership situation resolved quickly so the new ownership can infuse some money to give the team flexibility in pursuing trades or Free Agents. This team is ready for a run next season!

Rangers!

Since Texanne started the confession...

OK <sigh> I, being of somewhat competent and stable mind, do freely admit it: I too am a Ranger Zealot... there, I said it. A recovering, but a Ranger Zealot none-the-less.

Bring, IT, on. In 2010, the TEXAS Rangers are gonna kick some buttocks and win the AL West!
