all around great effort. Pitching was efficient, pounding the strike zone all day. Defense was strong, w/ Andrus and Young make nice plays. Offense was the offense, only Davis didn't have a hit.
was glad they let Millwood go 7. He reached 100 pitches early in the inning and had a little trouble, but they certainly had a cushion and glad they let him go. and glad CJ got the 8th inning. all around great day for the Rangers.
Great day at the Ballpark, with one big quibble: they have a new hot dog vendor, and it was the worst hot dog I have EVER had. Some crap called Sheriff Blaylock. The dog was a salty mess, the bun was stale, and all of it was cold. I look forward to my first ballpark dog all winter long, and this monstrosity almost ruined my day.
Bring back the Hebrew Nationals dammit! And oh yeah, nice game Rangers!
Rex, I take it you didn't watch any games the last 2 months of last season. Not that I'd blame you given the Ranger record, of course! But if you had, you'd understand why Cruz is playing. Guy was unreal.
