losing only to the reigning MVP and Cy Young winner. Havent' lost a regular season series since ???? maybe early September.

Is this the best start ever for a Rangers team?

..and all five in the starting rotation have an ERA in the top 25 in the American League. When has THAT ever happened? Never for the Rangers, I'm sure.

Looks sweet. But the Yankee hitters were on a torrid pace in Boston. Plus with Saturday's double header, Feldman will have to do spot duty. Washington says Feldman should only throw 50 pitches or so because it's been a while since he started. That means the bullpen will have to hold up under extended pressure for the first time this season. I think the Rangers have gotten 6+ innings out of starters most times this season.

Started 12-3 in '89 same as this year but then faded; this is by far the best Ranger team ever and I expect a lot of fun this year watching them.

Last night was the first series opener they've lost this year. Hope it's the last one.
