I watched both, first the bad, then the super good. It was something else, watching that 9th inning, the tying run on 2nd base due to dropping the fly ball.
Feliz got essentially 5 outs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Funny how the team didn't do a traditional dogpile, they just got in a circle and jumped up and down in the inffield.
Never saw an interview with Josh. According to an earlier interview, he was planning to stay away from party due to the champagne. Said he was afraid of the alcohol even touching his skin.
Michael Young's interview was very similar to some of Augie's in the past, talking about the four steps, and actually there are only three steps.
Nevertheless Michael was the one player who the most serious about not being satisfied with being in the playoffs.
I wonder where Nolan was? If you had his dough, wouldn't you schedule a private plane to fly out just in case it looked like your team was winning?
I have been a long suffering fan forever. My dad took me to the very first rangers game, even got to see david clyde's debut game. Does anyone think Texas will finally win and go to the world series. Dam i hope so.
5-game series you can throw odds out the window. strange things happen. then if you get to the ALCS - it's a grind and all those good things that happened during the season have to kick in for week and a half or so.
Hook'em!!!
p.s: I was game #2 in the Rangers life and was at David Clyde's debut. Glad to see a turnaround - finally
