Ranger injuries

I posted a while back that injuries or a major slump were the two things that could derail this magic. It seems as if we have both.

Kinsler, Cruz, Young, etc. injuries, and Vladimir's slump.

These subs just aren't ready.

Do we get well enough to win some playoff games?

How is success defined right now? At the beginning of the year, winning the division would be an incredible success. Right now, it doesn't look so great, with the next two closest teams under .500.

If the Rangers get healthy, I think success would be winning two playoff games, with winning a division series a fantastic bonus.

If the series against the Rays had been a playoff series, Nellie and Kinsler and Young would have been in the lineup. But they're banged up, so rest 'em and get 'em healthy as long as the Angels and A's keep losing.

I want home field, but not at the expense of the team's health. We're a mess right now.

As for success in the playoffs, there's only one thing left to do: win the whole ******* thing.

Agree these guys would be playing if it was the playoffs, but let's let em heal up so they are healthy when we really need em.
