Just my 2 pesos* thus far, and I haven't seen every game. Overall, I'm really pleased. The criticism is rather mild, but I'm trying to shoot straight.

Timmy Allen - he's been really good. A great hustler, windex man, and garbage man. Also a "point forward" who can run the offense (in the absence of a true point guard). Very good on O and D. Can effectively guard all 5 opposing players on the court at any time. Also has recently demonstrated leadership. Gives up some turnovers. Appears to have a real joy for the game. Great guy and great player.
Mitchell - has shown nifty low post offensive moves. Can score down low. Is more of a "finesse" player. Could stand to play tougher and crash the boards more. Needs to grab more boards. Good on O though.
Disu - good defender. Goes absent for a long time, then hits a big streak where he does it all. Very good interior defense. Good rebounder. Nails a slam dunk for much excitement from time to time. So-so offensive low post player, other than garbage man stuff which he's decent at.
Bishop - our best low post defender. Good shot blocker. Good rebounder. Interior offense is hit or miss. Sort of like Jericho Sims was for us last year--but not as good as Sims. Tough guy. Hustler.
Jones - outside shooting ace. Generates turnovers and converts on the fast break.
Carr - hot or cold from the 3 point line. Not that good at traditional point guard duties. When he's hot, he's on fire from the 3. The games where he's on fire from the 3 point line--we don't lose. Generates turnovers, but gives up some turnovers too.
Ramey -- see Carr above. Plays with a lot more control this year. In recent games, Ramey seems to have played better than Carr IMHO.
Febres - can hit threes, but gets very little game time.
Benson - the stache
Askew - only guard consistently good at traditional point guard duties / running the offense all around. Can get hot from the 3 point line. Gets little playing time.
Cunningham - generates more opposing team turnovers per minute than any man in the game. Hustler. Grabs a lot of boards. Not a big scorer, but competent on O, especially under the bucket and on the baseline. Frustrates the other team--and their fans...
Licon - role-player whom Beard puts in for motivation when the other guards are stinking up the joint. Hustler. Used to be a grad-assistant. Generates some turnovers.
GO HORNS!!!
