Rain gutters

My neighbor used Leaf Guard and the custmer service was awful when a problem developed. The repair man was not only rude to her but was yelling at her. The roof bolded up in spots.

Leaf Guard is much higher priced. Does the same thing as "helmet" or most of the other products.

I can give you other options (look into the "Rain Handler" for one) that do different things & achieve the same kind of goal.

There is NO 100% leaf free solution.

I have found leaves UNDER shingles & there is no tree with that kind of leaf within 100 yards, so believe me when I tell you that they get everywhere in magical fashion.

Water control is for 4 main reasons (some of which overlap):

1. Keep water off the entry to your house or garage so you don't get wet coming / going.

2. Prevent water from eating out the dirt around your house & maybe even damaging your foundation.

3. Water collection for reuse.

4. Prevent water from affecting over areas of the roof or house.

If you are primarily looking to control the flood, I'd go with the rain handler. It turns the big sheet of hard hitting water back into rain drops... but it will not do anything for the entry / egress points & that's what a traditional gutter is for. Same points apply for rainwater collection.
