Shoulda put this on Horn Depot instead; would get a LOT more traffic (heck, I keep forgetting this forum & haven't been back here in about 4 days).

Call David Alcocer with Direct Gutters; 512.627.3106. Tell him Mark with Ranch Hand Roofing sent you. He will not beat anyone's price because he values quality over price. The only accomodation to $$ that he might make is going with ferrules / spikes vs. the better 'hidden hangers'.

The easiest way to get a $$ is to calc your running ft. along the fascia(s) you want & then multiply by around $ 4.25 per. Include downspouts in this figure; miters with backsplash are around $ 10.00 each, IIRC.

He also has leaf shedding products, however they do cost extra. As a comparison, LeafGuard is around $ 15.00 per linear ft. Not low priced @ all!

austin gutter man is pretty good, but they had a nice back log this spring. ours were just installed a month or two ago and they came back out at our request to tweak it a bit.

complicated, physically challenging, time consuming, or just enough of a task so that it's worth it to pay a few hunded bucks to not worry about it and it magically gets done?

A hurricane is going to destroy the place you were going to go. Now you will destroy the place you are going. Focus on that.

Think about these terms vs. the "difficulty".

--Seamless = no leaks (yes, they are seamed @ the ends & in miters).
--Positive / correct water flow.
--No spikes / ferrules, but hidden hangers (which last longer & don't interfere with the house as much).
--Less waste due to correct measurement & fit by a pro.
--Painted if you have some sort of odd trim color.

Plus so, so much more.
