Rain Gear for Game

LonghornCatholic

Deo Gratias
I don't own any rain gear for outdoor games.
Where do you guys buy yours? What do you recommend?
I'm looking for something light weight.......thnx

On the drive back after one of the home games this year, I bought a Nike Longhorn rain jacket for half price at the Nike outlet store in Round Rock. Even at half price, it was around $65, but is really nice. It is light weight, but breathable and completely waterproof with a hood. They may still have some there.

Rain Ponchos can also be used to hide all types of alcoholic beverages etc.etc.etc. This year at the Chicago marathon ponchos were used to hide relieving ones self into a container while standing at the starting line.

WHY are you asking about rain gear for our Citi BCS game? Weather.com's calling 44-66 and sunny. 0% precip.

What do you know or suspect that we don't?

Beat the HELL outta Alabama!

I am pretty sure that in 05 and 06 there was a lot of rain leading up to the game.

They were talking about shutting down the golf course for parking last time and had helicopters drying the field.

What happened in 2005 and 2006 is irrelevant ... all long-range forecasts I've seen at worst say partly cloudy, lows 40s, highs upper 60s-low 70s. Just keep checking the weather web sites (or local tv station web sites).

I'm taking my daughter with me to Pasadena, leaving the wife, so just making sure I have everything covered.

Golfsmith - get a lightweight rain suit that folds up tight. It will keep you drier than a pancho.... gaaaawd, I hope it doesn't rain during the damn game

Side note: I went to the 05 RB vs. Mich. - it was damn chilly that eve - dress warmly in burnt orange of course AND have fun! You will be making great memories with your daughter.

BEAT THE HELL OUTTA bama!!!
