I should poll that.
I would suggest polling it in the head 1st.

If he repeats game 2 several times, chances are good he will be invited to Manhattan, NY.

If he repeats games 1 & 3 very many more times he will be lucky to get an invite to Manhattan, KS for a Dairy Queen banana split.

When I got stationed in Dover, DE, back in 1996 at the tender age of 23 and fresh off of being stationed in South Korea.

I went to the local DQ and got a steak finger basket. When they brought it out, I asked where is the gravy. He looked at me kind of funny and asked which sauce I wanted with my fingers "ranch, BBQ, and two other choices". Needless to say...I never went back.

Wow, fun poll but we got such a long way to go brother...

I'm worried what Dave Aranda Bailor D is going to throw at Ewers this Sat. Last year they were very tough and other teams mirrored that D vs. us since 2022.

Unfortunately, Texas will likely have to win out. He must have a great game against Oklahoma. He must be in better control of the other games and not throw interceptions. We need to find a running game. Also, the Heisman voters tend to favor USC and ND QBs over us because of voter bias, so he must have a better resume than USC, Washington, and Colorado QBs. I don't think FSU is that good but they play no one. I don't see an SEC nominee at this point. Better than 50/50 he will be nominated, winning is far from settled. If he is "tied" with Colorado, USC or Washington, and Texas and the other team has similar records he will not win ala Vince Young, who was much better as a leader and player.

Were you at Dover AFB? Assigned to anything to do with receiving KIA servicemen?
I was assigned there but at that time I was in finance squadron. I went by KIA place once though.

Ironically, I crossed trained to Loadmaster and was the one picking them up in the war on terrorism while in theater for furtherance to Dover. Those were the worst missions. I will never forget my first one...they ran out of caskets and the whole plane was empty except for a body bag with a falling soldier on a stretcher.

well I will be like the former Heisman winners and see who has the best last game of the regular season and choose that one.

I did see something like the last three QBs to beat Bama in Tuscaloosa won the Heisman. It was Cam Newton, Johnny Football, and Joe Burrow. I think I got that all correct so Quinn is due to keep the streak alive!

It has been about 15 years or so, but I used to work as a civilian consultant for the USAF. I traveled to many CONUS installations during my time, including Dover AFB. It was my honor to have been on site when they unloaded a plane. Very moving.

No kidding. Not happy with some of Sarks post game comments about seeing things that they havent seen before. We should be good enough to force opponents to adjust to Texas, not have Deer in the headlights because its something not on film.
