Here's an easy, fast idea for cooking raw vegetables...
Take a grocery store bag. These are the perfect tensil strength. Do not try any other type.
Place your veggies inside.
Tie the bag in a knot tight enough that it makes an air tight seal. If the veggies are small, tie it, turn it over, and tie it again. The bag should hold air, no holes.
Place in microwave. Heat as follows:
Potatoes--- 5 minutes plus two minutes per extra potato.
Sweet Potatoes- 4 minutes plus two per extra potato.
Corn on Cob- 4 minutes plus one per extra ear (in shuck or out)
Raw Broccoli- 1 minute flat
The moisture from the vegetables will be released into the bag, and cook the veggies perfectly. No hard, dried out potatoes like you would normally get from the microwave...
Your cook time may vary due to different powered microwaves...
Watch out when you take it out, remember the bag is full of super hot steam.....
