quick place to go to check car ac?

people have told me about some in town that just do that but I don't know of any in North Austin. Any suggestions? Think the car just needs more freon but want to get it checked out...

Reputable shops won't just refill low refrigerant. If it's low, it's low for a reason and their job is to find the reason before refilling the system. BTW, there's a good chance it's something other than the refrigerant level. Dave's Ultimate Automotive on Howard Lane (2 other locations, too) is a reputable shop that will do a good job for you. They've maintained our vehicles for years and I've never had a bad experience.
