Quick Fan Question

why is their an option to make it turn counter clockwise? i have always wondered that.

Do you mean a ceiling fan?

We don't reverse ours, but a lot of folks do set it on "reverse" in the winter so that the heated air up around the ceiling isn't blown straight down under the fan.

Instead, the cool air from below is circulated up through the warm air and it gets blown out and down the walls, evening out the temperature. Seems to me it would work the same summer or winter, but what do I know?
