Regional TV: I see from my DirecTV guide that regional coverage is schedule at various times on ESPN2, ESPNU, and maybe? ESPN. Can we expect that all of the Texas v. TCU games will be televised?

Sorry for those superstitious among you, but I'm planning a driving trip (~13 hours) to Omaha from Dayton, Ohio. What is the earliest a game would be scheduled on the first day (Sat, June 13), and when would the #1 seed be expected to play? I'm hoping the third gametime would be reserved for the #1 seed.

In 2008 the #1 national seed played at 6pm on Day One. In 2007 the #1 national seed didn't make it to Omaha; #2 Rice played at 1pm on Day One. In 2006 #1 national seed Clemson played at 1pm on Day One. In 2005 #1 national seed Tulane played at 1pm on Day Two.

IIRC, in 2003 the Day One and Day Two schedules were switched after our Super at FSU was delayed a day by weather. Unless something similar happened in 2005, there does not appear to be a perfectly reliable pattern as to whether the highest seeded surviving team even plays on Day One or Day Two.

We're doomed this weekend, of course, but even if the unimaginable happens there is no way to project which day and time the 'Horns will play their opening round game.
