Who is the (in your opinion) the best leader that has ever played UT women's basketball? Why do you think this?

Also, do you think it is harder to be a leader with today's technology or easier?

Annnnnnd GO!

I agree that Kamie was one heck of a pg, but there were others on that team. I was too young to see them play many games, so I am asking... was she the only leader? what about Fran Harris? Annette Smith-Knight....

I guess I am wanting to know more of your reason behind your choice, maybe elaborate a litte.

Kamie definitely. Kamie was basically an extension of Jody on the court. Great times. There were other leaders on the court but everything went through Kamie.

Also, I would have to say Jamie Carey.

I would say Jamie Carey. She brought such intensity to the game. She was an important cog to the success the team had while she was at Texas. A floor general. She was also a scoring point guard which made her a double threat.

(I've heard Kamie was a great floor leader, but because of my age I never saw her play)

Must we go back down memory lane?

Shouldn't we talk about the future of the program? Nostalgic the topic is. OU fans are talking about team camp, potential contributors and season updates.

I was young, But I do remember Kamie.E she was really a good floor leader and point guard. But Jamie Carey had the same skills. Where Jamie beats Kamie at. Is the Outside shooting and scoring period.

I like ya'lls thoughts.... and now for part 2 of my question. who on the current team do you believe are going to step up to the role and become the leaders for the upcoming season? and why do you think that....

its easy to look back and see who was running the show, but do you have the skills to look into a current program and see who is already stepping up or even showing the potential to step up and lead this new team under coach aston, who is gonna be the player who takes on her tenacity and becomes the floor general?

Most definitely! Faster, stronger, more organization, accuracy, are just a few of the improvements in the last ten years. Ladies like Sue Bird stepped up goals for young girl athletes

True Kenya came in and was a leader in the court for sure .... And it could be that happens and Ashley steps up and does the same or possibly even Celina.

Does the floor general always have to be a point guard? Could it possibly be chas or Chelsea picking it up? Nneka? Or could it be a freshman who helps point the way?

Especially curious of comments from those who saw the workouts at the end of the spring semester
