ok, so i'm using a new laptop (not new, but new to me) and i'm installing all my old programs including my fantasy baseball software. it's a very small and simple program, the league is nfsl, and their website has the downloads for the software.
anyhow, i've installed it several times on several computers. it easily goes on and off. except now, on this computer.
when i double click on the downloaded program icon i get this error message:
Box Labeled : "16 bit Windows Subsystem"
Box says: C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
The two choices are "Close" and "Ignore".
So I am forced to close it, and obviously, nothing happens.
It's gotta be something on my laptop that is causing this. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Like I said, I've installed the software before, always on PC, and I've never had this problem.
Thanks.
