Why do they get capes and the Horns don't?

NO sorry

What is that scribbling on the shoulders of some teams unis?
Wyoming had it and then i see it on Baylor

I may have first seen it on Oregon and thought it was feathers but Wyo cowboys wouldn't have feathers.

Maybe it is supposed to be epaulettes?

anyone know?

well that makes sense
I of course thought it was some sort of decoration at first but i couldn't link it to Wyo cowboys
ore Ducks yes, feathers
and even baylor bears, bear claws
thanks

Texas had the same thing in the '09 A&M game (though you can't see it as well in this picture):

It's tough to see because it's white stitching on a white jersey, but it's there. It was part of the Nike Pro Combat series. Here's a better shot; the angle of the lighting helps you see the ribbed stitching on the shoulders better:

And here's an example of different-colored stitching from Florida:

Why would you stitch white on white? It doesn't make any sense. That's why people looking at this thread are just now realizing that there actually is stitching there....3 years later.

Texas wanted their Nike Pro Combat uniform to be as simple and as true to the original as possible, so I guess they didn't want the flywire stitching to be too noticeable. They obviously succeeded.

"Nike's iconic "flywire" stitching is incorporated into the high impact shoulder area of each jersey". Nike claims it provides a " lockdown" seal with shoulder pads. Happy, pappy?

I've hated how tight fitting the jersey shoulders have been for the last few years. I guess with that information I should just learn to not hate them. Thanks, Taps.
