Question for iphone users

I want to get an iphone (note, I don't really need one, but I want one). I don't really want to pay $400 for one but I see there are some 4gb phones on ebay. Is it pointless for me to consider a 4gb?

Wait a couple months and there will be a lot of 8gb flooding ebay. Rumors are that Apple is poised to release the 3G version within the next couple months/.

Since it's not a need, you can wait a few for the next version. However, if you want the phone now, rather than going through ebay, check the apple store online. They have refurb iphones from time to time. Not only will they be less expensive, but you'll get the same warranty as a new one. Best of both worlds.

Both of the above suggestions are good.

But, it would be in no way "pointless' to get a 4G. If you want it now, check for refurbs; if they don't have any go for an ebay one.

I guess it just depends on how much music or videos u plan to put on it. If you dont have that much music, then it definitely wouldnt be pointless
