question about tickets to Sat Baylor game

Any advice on ticket availability to the Saturday Baylor game? According to the Baylor website only singles are available. Was thinking about a road trip to Waco, but I've never been to a game there. Will it be easy to snag a couple before the game? What about the general admission seats?

We pre-sell about 80% of stadium seating, so there probably arent' a lot of chairback seats to be bought.

Supposedly, our ushers are told to allow people to move over into unclaimed chairbacks (and there will be a number of them this year) after the 4th inning.

Be cool; don't give them any reason to take a second look at you (you know, the bloodshot eyes, red nose complex), and by the 4th you should be OK to find a decent seat.

But then these are strange days at our ballpark and some of our ushers might feel a need to be heavy-handed to anybody wearing orange.

shouldn't be that way, but it is. Kinda like at TAMmieville where they use gun-carrying campus police to patrol the aisles so taht no one can move over into their empty seats.

Travel safely. Supposed to be wet.

Bottom line. Plenty of GA tickets available since our students are starting finals and won't show. And we had our big "turn out the Waco crowd" emphasis last week. And after they saw us get not just swept but POUNDED by OU, I'm afraid many of them will not be back.

I'm headed your way Friday night to see the game and your refurbished Disch. Looking forward to seeing what the changes are. I'll be on team pass list. Are we sitting up above first base as we always did?

So it sounds like I can just show up Saturday and get some GA tickets?

Thanks for the info!
Hopefully the rain will hold off this weekend.

All the GA tickets you want. Unlike previous years when both programs were a bit stronger, shouldn't be too long a line either.
