Question about Rodrique Wright...

With Parcells/Sparano and company taking the 3-4 to Miami, what does this mean for RW? They traded for Jason Ferguson (DT from Dallas), and signed free agent Randy Starks (DT from Tenn.) to be the cannonball shaped pluggers in the middle. Does this mean RW will move out to a DE spot in the 3-4? If so, and Miami is eyeballing a DE like Virginia's Chris Long in the draft (like I've read), will RW get squeezed out?

That's three questions, but who's counting. Wright needs to impress, or he's likely gonna be looking for a new playing address.

I took it as somewhat of a good sign that they didn't ax him right off the bat. Luckily he got his shoulder healed up in enough time to at least get some film down that he can shop around if he is let go.

My bet would be that the Dolphins will trade down for multiple picks. They've got so many holes at so many positions that an overall #1 pick will be a band-aid on an axe-wound.

However, if they use their #1 pick, then I could see them taking Michigan OT Jake Long. Unless Parcells wants to roll the dice and see if Chris Long can be another Shawne Merriman.
