Question about Mac IM Clients

i have been experimenting with some alternatives to the the usual yahoo messenger, msn and aim etc. i have tried adium and fire with mixed results, i like the act they combine all three of my services and ones like adium has a really cool look to it, none of them support audio visual. do you guys know of any that fit that description for a mac?

Nope. Which service in particular are you trying to do audio/video chat on? Yahoo's webcam thing sucks ***. iChat/AIM works very well, but only from iChat.

I don't know anybody who uses MSN messenger.

You can have either integration or good av chat, but not both.

thanks sessamoid, i can always depend on you for the best mac advice. i have yahoo, msn and ichat for video but i dont like the mac version of either of those. i have been testing adium and it is very cool, i am using the latest beta versoin which has a lot of the windows features of all the messenger clients. all they need to do is add video and it will be the best mac IM client there is.

there are a million skins and features to it, its very cool, check it out.

If Adium did audio/video, I'd probably use that as my only chat client. I still use Adium for YIM because Yahoo's client sucks serious ***. The sounds are the worst!
