Question about Cotton Bowl sections

I'm a little confused about the sections for the Cotton Bowl. When I go to Seat Geek, it lists Texas on one side (North side, I'm assuming), so I was just going to try and buy tickets on that side of the field. Since we'll definitely have to purchase in the 400s, I was thinking anywhere from 431-454. Does that sound right to you guys?

When I go to the Cotton Bowl instagram post, it lists the sections, but the photo is so grainy that I can't read the exact numbers. At the Sugar Bowl last year we bought "neutral" section tickets but ended up being surrounded by mostly Washington fans. Just trying to avoid that again!

Also, the logo on the instagram post looks upside down, or opposite of the logo from Seat Geek, which is what's really throwing me off!

Looks like the 400s are along the upper deck areas. I took this picture on Stub Hub

Texas is on the north side. So like the "high" numbers for each level:
124-147
223-247
324-347
428-457

Basically, any number lower than those first ones for each level is the south side and for tOSU.

I can't help you with other SRO or suite numbers, but I know a guy who does.

Nevermind, there is a different thread that I believe answers my question.

The thing that's colored in orange on the Cotton Bowl Instagram post is the school allotment. Those are the ones set aside for season ticket holders, students, band, etc.

A lot of those seats ended up on Seat Geek or other 3rd parties because a lot of those season tickets are owned by the ticket companies. Shocker, I know.

Everything else on the north side (like 124-135) is "general admission" in the sense that they were set aside for corporations and the public. But it'll be largely Texas fans in those ones, like the tOSU ones are mostly like the sections that have a zero for the second number. General admission, but only kind of.

Based on what I am seeing on Seat Geek, if we’re the home team, why is the logo upside down from the Texas side?

Also, with the weather, I have to believe that OSU attendance will be held down, affecting ticket prices. (Hope so.)

I don't think the sidelines were split based on home/away. If you went back to during the regular season, the north side always said "Peach Bowl Champion" and the south side always said "Rose Bowl Champion." Obviously, it's a coin flip as to whether the Peach or Rose Bowl champ would be ranked higher than the other team.

A LOT of the 400's section has dropped to the $150-200 range in the last day, probably due to weather.

I'm holding out hope for 6+ inches of snow and then getting my $41 ticket for the 200's section at game time, but not holding my breath. I hate driving to Arlington when it's NOT snowing.

Year before last, my son and I were driving home from a Ranger game and hit a hail storm in Grand Prairie. It was great.

I thought we were all supposed to park at HHD's house and walk over.
Sabre, it would be a very long walk. I live in SW Arlington, just a couple miles north of I-20 (just north of Martin HS). It's about a 20-minute drive to the Boss Hog Bowl from my place.
