Does anyone think he is under-valued?

I was reading about how excite he was to have the opportunity to bring back the long FG attempt that fell short. He really looks for opportunities to win rather than just trying not to make mistakes.

he is one of the smartest players I have ever seen, just maximizes every step, knows exactly what to do. The one catch was David Tyree-esque and Colts throw was semi-Eli too. Quan is pretty close to being technically perfect. He and Colt are a very special combination.
 
Bob Davie had a good point about the field goal return. Every other player on the field had become a spectator and only Quan was still playing. I was trying to remember the last time I saw one returned, and all I know is it's been a hell of a long time. It looks like Quan's last year could turn out to be his best, which is a great thing while we wait for the younger guys to step up.

Playermaker on Texas' Nat'l Championship team as a true freshman.

How could you shake such a guy? Absolutely invaluable to this team.
 
That 3rd down catch he made vs. USC - the one where he got face-masked - was critical. Until VY's 4th-down run, it was the one make-or-break play of the drive.
 
He looks taller to me this year.

He's surpassing all expectations, and then some. He may turn out to be the surprise player of the year in the Big XII, because there are so many (both QBs and WRs) who have been labeled as "the big deal" for the year.

Quan may just out-perform all of them.
 
"2-time state HS football champion" Quan and Mart only won it one time while he was there. They beat Boyd for the 1999 state title 40-7 and lost to Celina 21-17 in 2000. Still was the best high school football player i ever seen.

On Quan's FG return, I was wondering if he had let the ball travel through the back of the endzone where would the ball been spot. I loved the return and he had a chance of running it to the house, but was curious if we really improved our field positon.
 
Quan brings so much heart and competitiveness to the field. He's such a clutch player. Glad he came back for football at UT!

Maturity on the field can make one hell of a difference. I love this freakin guy. He reminds me of Terry Glen. He ain't huge, he ain't the fastest guy on the field, but damn it if we need a first down I want the ball going to him!!

second best player on the team and second most valuable. We will see how much we took him for granted next year.

Why would you say he was taken for granted??
