this is a long article but a thought provoking article from a liberal

He directs 12 questions to liberals.
I will post a few here. Questions which cover topics that have been discussed on WM many times.
I would like to know if any Liberal posterwould care to answer this Liberal's questiosn ( either th ones I posted or any other rom the link) in a thoughtful way.

1. Why do some people fret more about the hypothetical consequences next century of nonrenewable energy than they do the verified consequences next week of unsustainable debt?

4. How come so many people who risk their lives sneaking into this country illegally in order to escape some of worst hellholes on earth appear prouder of their homelands than many native-born Americans do of their country?

7. What’s liberal about depicting conservative blacks as boot-licking Uncle Toms and Aunt Jemimas?

10. In what way is a man who gives away 30 percent of his own income to charity selfish while a man who wants to confiscate more of other people’s money generous?

11. Can you define “fair share”? I keep hearing that rich people aren’t paying it, but if the top one percent already pays almost 40 percent and the bottom 50 percent pays nearly nothing, how much more do the rich have to pay before you’ll declare it fair?

They'll attack the source, laughing that this guy calls himself a liberal, then they'll ignore the questions.

While I'm no liberal and agree with the sentiment behind some of the questions, could he try to word them in a way that isn't as loaded?

One thought is that is he a staunch liberal so he may feel he can word the questions in that way
versus a conservative who if he asked the same questions in the same way would be blasted every which way.

Until I read his article it never occured to me that the Libs from the 30s-70's wanted less government control into lives.
