QB Bryce Petty - Midleothian

Anyone seen this guy play? Apparently, he just committed to Tennessee over --- New Mexico and Portland State.

Is this as big a reach as it appears to be? I'm asking for some friends up here who are wondering what Phat Phil is doing.

I have seen him play several games and wondered why he hasn't gotten more play. Tall guy with a srong arm, and he is pretty accurate. I would classify him as a pocket passer, but he can run a little also.

The really weird thing was the story itself on the front of the Knoxville News Sentinel. For the 99% of y'all that don't know, the Sentinel is Knoxville's version of Dave South. It's all sunshine.

Anyway, I'm used to reading about how great the program, the players, the fans, the stadium, etc.. are. In this article, the poor kid is borderline being trashed.

His arm strength and his speed are questioned.

He is not real fast, but he can sling it.

They do get great support for such a mediocre program.
