I was thinking about buying one of these things, they are on sale at Bestbuy.

Anyone have one?
How good is the video quality.

I want something with a digital camera as well, so I can take stills as well as video.

Anyone know what I should purchase?

Does it take still pictures?

If you spend $150 on a point & shoot like a Nikon Coolpix, I think you get comparable video capability and better still pictures.

Pretty cool concept, though. I almost bought one for summer vacation.

Flip works great for home videos where quality is not the #1 concern. If you want to watch on YouTube or similar is perfect. If you plan to watch on HD TV, then you are going to want an HD camcaroder. We have both, and rarely use the camcorder b/c its such a pain to take out, turn on, etc. Flip could not be easier.
