PSA: Wii's @ 183/Braker Costco

While shopping yesterday I noticed the NW Austin Costco had a lot of Wiis to go around. They had a pallet up front w/ cards you would take to the register so the boxes weren't on the floor (probably not worth the time/effort to put them out). I think it was a bundle w/ a game & controllers for $249.

More importantly they also now have Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale for $21 a case.

are people still having trouble getting wiis? a year and a half ago (Feb 07), i responded to a PSA on this board, left work, and snagged the last one at fry's.

I went to a Best Buy in Frisco to pick up FIFA 09 on my lunch break, and they had dozens of Wiis.

They had a bunch at the Costco in South Austin when I went last week.

There hasn't been a shortage of them for months. I bought mine back in May, simply walked into the store and got it no problem. If people are still having trouble finding them, they don't know where to look.

I read some speculation a few months ago that there might be a shortage again this holiday season. That was before the economy went into a death spiral in October, so I expect many people are trimming their Christmas budgets this year. That probably means Wiis are going to be much easier to find than they used to be.
