PSA- VH1 Rock Honors The Who in 30 mins

Pearl Jam absolutely f'ing tore that up....
Sounded as good as the Who.

Love Reign O'er Me
The Real Me

McCreedy looking in top form.

Huge PJ fan here, I'm so glad they played The Real Me than Baba.

Also, I liked the Flaming Lips performance. I know some don't like them, but they were on, IMO...

I never thought Irons fit in at all....
As much as I think Cameron is a great, great drummer Pearl Jam songs always feel rushed with him.

I thought for sure that they had the best rhythm section with Dave Abbruzzese on drums.
The flow was perfect.

But, back on topic I was talking about the Flaming Lips drummer.

Ah yes, Abbruzzese. Early 90s, living away from home for the first time. Listening to Ten, memories.

Hey, I'm seeing Eddie Vedder's solo tour in Milwaukee on the 19th (Aug). Wife and I are taking the day off, looking forward to it.

The Who were the best of the show, what a great band.

Too bad Keith and John are not around, but those guys are still better than most bands touring right now.

Tea and Theatre was fantastic.

"Tea and Theater" was indeed beautiful. Roger's voice was a little rough on some of the others, but sounded fantastic on that one. I love watching Zak play drums-- could he be any more different than his father?

I am not really a Pearl Jam fan, but WOW. SMOKING.

enjoyed all of the performances, but the last band took them all to school. which i guess is why they were being honored. couldn't help but notice how townsend kind of stalks around his stage area. its different than other rock band guitarists, like he can't wait for his next piece of fun music to play.

I had the pleasure of seeing Daltrey and the band play a private show last month. They basically played the same set and they were great. I am impressed Roger can still belt it out.
