I watched it. Very interesting to me, even though the drama is great at the end, I think the whole last-second deal could have been avoided.

With about 6:00 to go, we get the roughing the passer penalty, so we have 1st and 10 at our own 35. Cody had been used sparingly in the game, and everybody's tired at this time. Cody had pushed the entire pile earlier in the game a couple of times, but now no one would be expecting Cody to run run run.

I think we could have broken their backs with one first down, and to get that first down, I think Cody could have carried the ball three times and gained 10 yards quite easily.

We did run the ball twice, with Brown, and threw a bad pass on third down.

The lesson I hope Harsin learned was to not be afraid to go to a power running game anywhere on the field.
