PSA: Salt Lick Restaurant in Vegas

Googled Salt Lick today to look into online ordering, and three or four links down was a website claiming to be a Salt Lick BBQ restaurant in Vegas!! No way this is legit, right? Well there's no mention of a Vegas location on the main Salt Lick website, but the picture and description on the Vegas link look accurate (sauce bottles and wood bench picnic tables, mentions Driftwood). Located in the Red Rock hotel/casino, off-strip. Discuss...

Yeah, there is a Salt Lick franchise located in the Red Rock Casino. Walked by it a couple years ago. Hope it's better than the ones here in Austin & Round Rock.

For me it was always about the sauce. The sauce I could drink with a straw. The bbq... meh. Give me the ribs. and the lean brisket. But load them up with sauce, because they might be kind of dry.

What would be awesome is to be allowed to not only bring in your own alcohol (which you can currently do) but also bring in your own really good bbq to Salt Lick. Think about it, grab some good cue somewhere else, a six pack and sit out there in their nice environment.
