PSA: Ordering Copy of Texas Birth Certificate

Just moved out of state and something's come up where I need a copy of my birth certificate. One of the many welcome kits we received after the move sent us to a website for such a thing, and after I paid $35 they ended up giving me an address in Austin to mail the request in. Wow, thanks for nothing.

Took five minutes and $22 to get the order processed, and they are saying the certificate will be in the mailbox in 4 weeks.

if you go down there in person they will do it right there. i was born in tyler, tx so I went down to the clerk's in downtown dallas and had a new one in less than 30 minutes.
