PSA for Dallas peeps- Cheesesteak

I had to go out to Euless today for my job. We went longer than expected and it was past my lunchtime. I asked what was good around these parts and they pointed me to a place called Billadelphia's. (Bill, the owner, is a Philly transplant) So, I tried it out...

Best. Cheesesteak. Ever.

I'm a Texas guy, and I hate to do this, but Texadelphia is utter **** compared to this place. Fred's dowtown Philly also pales in comparison. It's cheap as hell too. The place looks like and old "snack shack" in the middle of a business parking lot. I got a 6 inch steak, with cheese whiz and grilled onions, a bag of Herr potato chips and a large Birch root beer for $5. After my job was completed, I looped back and brought a 10 inch home for the kids.

Throw distance out the window. This place is awesome.

alright, next time i have to go to DFW airport, i'll swing the extra few mins to go past the exit and pick me up one and give it test run. i like cheesesteak mmmm good.

I'll have to check that out next time I am in town. I wouldn't say that Texadelphia is utter ****, it's just not a traditional cheesesteak.

I have driven past that place a million times heading home from DFW. I always think about stopping there, but I just haven't done it yet. I will next time.
