It saddens me to report that the Joseph family Matriarch Mary Ann Joseph passed last Saturday. For many, we were treated like family for many years, and she loved us like her own children.

On my first visit to El Patio, I commented to my waiter that I felt like I was dining with royalty. He pointed to Mary Ann and said 'yeah, but in here everyone gets treated like royalty.'

One of those losses that will linger longer. The first time I went a "regular" introduced me, and she would ask me about him every time I ate there after that.
