I'm gonna start one up so if anyone wants to join reply to this thread and let me know your PSN gamer tag. It is first come first serve so whoever wants in. I will be setting it on Heisman and will be adjusting the sliders. If anyone has any good slider settings then let me know otherwise I will use the ones that I am using right now. Also if anyone has any ideas about how we should organize it in terms of teams per conference and who gets what teams let me know. When you reply to this thread though just list a few teams that you would prefer just as a base so we have a general idea. Also my PSN tag is HookEm2702 so feel free to send me a friend invite.

We have 4 (maybe 5) spots left. We have 1 (maybe 2) available in the SEC and 3 available in the Big10. If anybody wants in let me know what team you want and your PSN gamertag.
 
We are now full and are just waiting for everyone's teams to set it up. I have a set of rules that Sellis over at Texags wrote up and they are pretty good. We may not use all of them but it has a good way of scheduling everything and tells everyone how many games per week and stuff. Tell me if there is anything you guys don't like about them.

I think those rules seem comprehensive and good. Hopefully we wont have to worry about anyone trying cheap tactics.
 
Can you post a list of the players that are in and what teams were chosen. Who is the lucky guy that got Texas?
 
Rules look fine with me. A little strict on 4th downs, and QBs running out of the pocket to throw, but I can play with it and they do make things more fair/realistic.

I second having a list of everyone's PSN and the team they are playing with.

Is it possible to play with a real roster, or are the players going to be the default (position and #)? When do we start? I'm ready!
 
Yea I sent out the invites today. Do yall wanna restart and have player names in it. I can get the rosters and redo it but I am worried about the glitch. And I was gonna be LSU but somebody else wanted them so I ended up getting Texas so that was fine with me.
 
And regarding the rules we don't have to follow them to the t. If someone does something that you think is unfair just save the replay and let me know and we will decide.
 
I'm fine without the names until the patch comes out...I already walked down that street once. Would it still screw up if we just typed in the names ourselves? I know it's extra work, I just don't want to freeze up again...

I noticed that we've got 11 players, can a 12th be added w/out totally screwing everything up? I've got someone else asking me about it? Don't worry about it if we'd have to re-start and noone else wants to.

Also, am I the only unranked team? I'm not complaining because I love being the underdog (or underDawgs..get it, sorry, that'll be the last time I go there) and it adds to the challenge.

Looking forward to getting started and thanks for taking the time to put this together.

If there is a spot available, I want it. Just got finished with the first season of my cpu dynasty and ready for some real competition.
 
Right now we have twelve guys and I am just waiting for the 12th guy to tell me what team he wants. If he doesn't though then we will need a guy. I'll let you know.
 
I am not very familiar with the changes to the AI. Why did we make the changes to run and pass blockin and to RB ability?
 
When you play against the compute there will be zero pass rush from your DLine and the opposing QB will torch your defense. Also the RB ability is to increase the computers ability to run the ball. All these adjustments help make the game more realistic.
 
You're telling me, Miss. St. got smoked by LaTech in our opener. The score ended up being closer than it was as they outgained us by 2:1 and had over 400+ passing w/ 5 TDs through the air. All that followed an inadvertant restart after my wife turned the game off when I was out of the room. But even in the first game we were getting beat up.

Conference play is really gonna suck...

I was struck by the turnover bug in week 1. I won the game but it was like 63-42. Colt threw 2 ints and fumbled once and I had a fumble by vondrell. All set up FAU with awesome field position. We only gave up 240yds but 42 points cuz of turnovers.
 
Whats up with the 2 restarts for the Aggie team in week one?
Repeated Attempts:

Please be aware that the commissioner (as well as the other Coaches) can see how many times you’ve attempted a game against the CPU. Do not start the game and then quit and restart it because your star player was injured or because you were losing. Players in OD1 and OD3 will get 2 total restarts for the ENTIRE SEASON and you can only use a MAX of 1 per game. If you use more than 1 per game that game will be re-simulated by the commissioner and you will have to deal with the outcomes (such as a loss, injuries, bad stats) of the simulated game. If you surpass your 2 total every game you re-attempt will be simulated. Players in OD2 will receive 4 restarts, as OD2 is designed for busier people and has less P vs. P games. Again, you can use a max of 1 per game, more than that will lead to a simulation
 
Yea I had to throwout his and HookemDanno(MSU). I hadn't been on until today so I had not seen yet. Both are probably happy though cuz the A&M guy barely won against Arkansas St. and the MSU guy lost to LATech.
 
What is going on with the darn servers. I did my recruiting and played notre dame and beat them handily. Then uploaded my results. Two days later I log in and Notre Dame has not been played and my recruiting wasn't done. I was going to be really pissed if I lost or one of my players got injured. Thankfully we won and no one was seriously injured. Although my star running back broke his toe - an injury in 2009 that doesn't slow down a fast running back.

anyone else have problems or was it only me?
 
Yeah, I've had probs for the last couple of weeks off and on. Most of the time my issue is just getting in, but I've been attributing that to my crappy DSL connection.

Unfortunately, I did NOT experience a loss of saved info following my getting pwn3d by rcmercado/ Auburn 41-7...we TRULY SUCK!!!

I think I have an issue. My dynasty screen shows me still on week 3 playing notre dame. I have researched the issue because several people have complained about the servers. I think that I may be a week behind what the commissioner is seeing. What week is everyone showing on the dynasty. I have played Notre Dame twice and recruited the same week twice. What week does everyone else show?
 
It shows me in week 3...

But it shows my game in week 3 as yet to be played, after I have already played it, and I have a record of 3-0 with USC (the team I played) as having a loss for the week. It won't let me play the game either. So what you are talking about may be happening to me too.
