Are there any ps3 games that you can play multiplayer online with a friend using the same consol? I've been looking for one but can't find one. Don't even know if one exists. And has anyone played Warhawk? I was thinking about buying it but haven't heard much about it.

Warhawk is a very good game... very fast paced... only playable online... and it's been around for awhile now, so you'll be getting mud-holed mercilessly by 9-yr-olds until you got past the learning curver.

bmoore i have the same problem. i can't exactly invited friends over to play CoD4 online, since only 1 of us at a time would be playing, and that's not as fun.

Halo had it figured out, so how hard can it be for other games?

I'm stuggling with this also. I would like to find a game that my girlfriend and I could play together without having to go online.

yea well none of my friends have a ps3. but i don't exactly like having people come over to play and have to take turns playing instead of playing at the same time. and if we played regular head to head i would destroy them in COD4.

well, my solution wasn't exactly the best financially, but it works out--i bought a wii for the wife and for when friends come over. it's a great party machine. the ps3 is great for ME, but not for everyone. the wii is awesome. girls can dominate at bowling, the wife loves super mario galaxy, it's really the best solution.
