PS3 Games

My girlfriend's brother bought me Call of Duty 4 for Christmas. I'm not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination. I really suck but I'm getting better the more I play. My girlfriend wants to play some with me and I'm wondering if there are any fun games that we can play together? We are both novices at game playing.

if she wants to play 360 with you, you need like... a super mario party type game. I know they make something like that... I forget the name of it though.

Download Tekken 5 off of the Playstation Store. It's like 20 bucks, there's a ton of female characters (to appeal to the gf), and it's just a fun button masher. I have it and it gets pulled out during parties and everyone has a good time and there's ample opportunities for trash talking. For $20 it's a hard deal to beat.

I'm kinda interested in this too. I only play CoD4 at this point, but I would be interested to find a game that the wife would enjoy.

my ol' lady likes the simpsons games.

there was one a few years ago modeled after Grand Theft Auto and I think the new one is modeled after Tour of Duty.

I would rather not have to buy her add-on stuff.

I think she may like "Drake's Fortune", she's really likes pirates.

i would avoid any shooting games. i tried getting the wife into numerous ones (resistance, drake's, CoD4) to no avail. she did like NFS Carbon somewhat, and loves guitar hero, but i finally just broke down and got her a wii. it really is the way to go.

i even tried ratchet and clank with her. still a no-go.

I borrowed Ratchet and Clank from a friend over the holidays, and it was a lot of fun.

I might have to start using mine for more than a blue ray player. and a fine blue ray player it is.

Not knocking PS3 games, I just have had a 360 a lot longer and have been getting cross platform games for it. I need to try some of the PS3 exclusive ones.
