Bradely (19), James (24) and Pittman (32). Too bad Dexter didn't make 1st round. Would have taken him ahead of Orton.

Good luck to them in their new adventures and jobs. Thanks for all you did here. We are fans for life.

I admit that I was wrong about Bradley. I thought at best he was 2nd round. I guess that's why they don't pay me the big bucks. If he is being groomed to replace Ray Allen and eventually does, the Celtics may be as bad a FT shooting team as we were.

MediaMan, if you come on a thread giving congrats just to fling poop, try some fact checking. Two late first rounders, one early second rounder.

Similar results by teams with either a pair of higher first rounders (composite) or a pair of first rounders and a second rounder:

Wake Forest 2009, Johnson (16), Teague(19), (and let's not forget Aminu #8 this year)--lost by 15 in the first round

ASU 2009--lost first round, Harden (3!), Pendergraph (31)

UCLA 2009--won first round game by 1 point over an 11 seed, lost second round game by 20, Holiday (17), Collison (21)

Indiana 2008--Gordon (7), DJ White 29, ***** slapped in first round

Georgia Tech 2007--Thaddeus Young (12), Javaris Crittendon (19), lost first round

Michigan State 2006--yeah, with Tom F'n Izzo, Brown (25), Ager(28), and Davis (34), lost by 10 in the first round

Congrats to those drafted.

BTW, Bradley to have ankle surgery.

Two first round picks and the second pick in round two isn't that far from three first round picks. Referring to being "very disappointed" with an early exit from the dance despite having three top draft picks as "flinging poop" is a much bigger reach than a couple of draft spots. Hell, I was disappointed too.

This would be a better argument if draft picks were based on how good the players were in 2009, rather than on estimation of potential.
