Proposal: Move player profile threads to home page...

Perhaps I am alone in this thinking: While I greatly appreciate the profiles that Godz has put together, I would like to see this board turned back in to a discussion board rather than as it is now as a Newsfeed/player profile board. "Little decommits" is a wonderful example of a discussion inducing post, whereas "WR John Baller" does not inspire the masses in to discussion.

Perhaps provide a link to a database of the player profiles, but most if not all of that is available on 247 sports, rivals and others, and is not necessary to post here.

Ricky Town has decommited from USC which would be an interesting thread for discussion but perhaps like me, others no longer view this board as the place for such discussion. It certainly used to be.

I'm not sure I have an opinion except that the drama that happened the last two or three months of the last recruiting season turned me off of the process. Especially when you throw in the dude who signed then wouldn't take the high school Spanish class to get in, etc, etc. I'm probably not the norm on it though. The manufactured drama from WWF never was my thing though.

EDIT:
Maybe have a recruiting sub-board for the nicely written recruit reports to segregate that out a bit, but keep the main football board as is?

I love the info on commits, but am somewhat luke warm on the offer list info. Overall, though, I really appreciate the great research and info.

With that being said, there is merit to Woo Woo's suggestion regarding a board to discuss recruiting issues, players etc. I like his idea.

Long overdue. Most threads/posts I read about players... I am way behind in knowledge and identification of said student-athlete. A suitable link saves time on the reader, and space on the OP. Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m open to suggestions on changes like this. I’d like to see if some others want to chime in with opinions/ideas on how best to organize things.
