Production 'Call Sheets'

"Call Sheets" are the list of names, phone numbers (unless they are stars), and "call times" (the time the person is supposed to arrive on set) for a production shoot.
I just came across a call sheet for a NIKE commercial- "Nothing But The Truth".

Under "Talent" it has these listings-

ART DIRECTOR
BUXOM BLONDE #1
BUXOM BLONDE #2
BUXOM BLONDE #3
BUXOM BLONDE #4
BUXOM BLONDE #5
CAMERA MAN
CASTING DIRECTOR
COMPOSER

I'm guessing that this was a "commercial within a commercial" idea. I'm sure that this was a pain to cast.

...casting for the role of a "hot girl" in a commercial is one of the most painful things ever.

I used to have this one tape I hung on to for a while where we were casting a "hot girl" for a dream sequence:

A HOT GIRL STANDS IN THE DOORWAY AND DANCES SEXY.

damn. that was a fun callback session.

At a house party in LA back somewhere around 1998-2000, someone had a tape of raw footage of Heather Graham "making love to the camera" on top of that school bus in the Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman" video.

Minute after minute, with TimeCode rolling at the bottom, Heather was gyrating, leering, moaning, whipping her head, running her hands over her body, and more... only to repeat many times. It was funny/sad. (And hot of course.)



You thinking WOW, I can't believe that this pretty well known actress is doing this just for a music video. Over and over and over... This is why most people in LA don't have much respect for Actors & Actresses. Especially the ones who are trying to becomes "stars". Of course the "stars" get respect as well as some of the character actors who pour their souls into small parts. But the people trying to make it on their looks... not so much.
