I'll preface this by saying I suck at computers. I had been wondering about all the "_____.EXE" processes that are running on my computer.

I just found a website that allows you to look up all the processes: processlibrary.com

Type ctrl+alt+delete and then click the Processes tab. This will show all the programs running in the background. If you're concerned or interested in what they are, just type the file name into this website and it'll explain it.

Most of y'all probably already know this, but I thought somebody else might have this same question.

That's a good one -- another is if you just insert the program in the google search.

Usually you'll get the first link as your answer with a good description of what it affects.
