The list below is what has been publicly acknowledged by commits themselves for enrolling in January, so we'll see... the last 2 on the list are the juco commits and along with Camrhon Hughes are big IMO due to shoring up the Oline & replacing Kheeston Randall on the Dline. Connor Brewer coming in will help press McCoy & Ash, as if they didn't need to be pressed any more as it is... but I would like, if at all possible for Brewer to redshirt!

QB - Connor Brewer, Scottsdale, AZ (Chaparral)
OT - Camrhon Hughes, Killeen (Harker Heights)
LB - Alex De La Torre, Denton (Ryan)
CB/ATH - Orlando Thomas, Copperas Cove
OT - Donald Hawkins, Northwest Mississippi C.C. (pending fall grades)
DT - Brandon Moore, East Mississippi C.C.

In addition, Mack makes in-house & school visits with all verbal commits prior to signing day and because the above are coming in early/January, Mack made an in-home visit to Connor Brewer last week, will be in Mississippi for in-home visits with Hawkins & Moore and he'll be in the Dallas area for his visit with Alex De La Torre, Copperas Cove for his visit with Orlando Thomas and will get into Harker Heights to see Camrhon Hughes before school lets out for the Christmas break and the recruiting dead period begins, which I believe starts on Dec. 19th. Have not heard the order of the last 3 as long as he gets them in.
 
I agree H-D on redshirting Connor. I would also like him to be backup his first year of playing to help ease him in slow and get used to the pressure.
 
Great news - this is a big advantage for each of these guys.

Do you know when Hawkins and Moore can sign?
 
Hawkins and Moore will sign on the Juco signing date which is next Wed. I believe. The High School enrollees will have to wait until the Feb. signing date. It has been so long since we signed juco kids we have to be reminded that Juco transfers can sign in Dec.
 
I kind of want it to be open competition but I also want the coaches to pick guy and let the entire offense gel with him.

I am asking because i really don't know.
The 6 who enroll in jan would be counted against previous classes, taking the spots of those who left, right?
But even so how can we sign more than 25 to one " class"?

Will some of the Feb signees bot get here until jan2013?
 
We can sign 25 for this year, then technically have 4 more leftover from last year since we only signed 21, therefore the potential 29 ships. Again it is like H-D says, it is all up to the way it all shakes out after the new year.
 
Yes... Donald "The Hawk" Hawkins & Brandon Moore officially signed Letters of Intent today, the first day that Juco players can do so. We have our first 2 officially in the bag... and they are expected to enroll in January.

When will Conner Brewer enroll?

I saw that Matt Davis enrolled at atm a week ago or more.
