my inkjet printer is dead. i need a new one.
i've been happy with my hp thus far. i am sort of considering getting a combo one with fax/copier features. anyone have experience with this or know of one for a good (cheap) price? is it worth getting the combo, or should i stick with the plain old inkjet? i don't fax/copy all the time, but i am a student, don't have an office, and thus don't have access to fax/copy machines all the time - i end up having to go to kinkos whenever i need to do this.

it's convenient, but if you do end up using it a lot to copy, just watch how high your ink cost will be compared to before.

I dropped inkjets because they're too messy and snagged a Samsung ML-1740 laser printer at Newegg for about a $100. It prints pretty fast (it says 17ppm) and I have not had any problems with it.
