so you probably haven't heard much about miles shuler. i hadn't. turns out he is a player out of NJ that has some decent offers, but is a real burner. like really fast. anyway, the kid's dream school is OU (insert jokes here). he posts on the OU scout board asking how to get in touch with the coaches. weird story. well guess what? three weeks later he has an offer. this thread on scout is pretty awesome, even if you aren't an OU fan. don't bother with anything after the first few posts.... as it ends up all over the place. but the fact this guy uses scout to get in touch with OU, OU likes him, and offers him a couple weeks later just blows my mind.

yeah, that part is a little weird since he stated that he would commit on the spot if offered..... but still, i'm happy the OU staff actually decided to look at his video. something i'm sure they pass on quite often. we usually don't get many three stars that we haven't got a REAL good look at. meaning they are usually guys close to home.

The kid's got good wheels and vision, but he didn't throw the ball one time the entire video when he was under center. Guess he'll just have to hit the weight room and hope to make it as a RB...

I am a stud athlete from (insert podunk town here) and I really would love to play for your junior coll....er....I mean university. It would be great too if i could land a job at big red sports motors while i am attending your school. looks like he OU wasn't as much of his "dream school" as he led on

meaning, he has an offer and hasn't committed.... after stating he would basically sign immediatly if offered.
