This guy is unbelievable, he is looking, well not into the camera, the teleprompter would be more like it but just lieing through his teeth.

People believe this guy is what just kills me, they take his word as gospel, open your minds people do your own research and learn what a liar this guy is......

Make a list of the lifetime politicians that aren't and if you can come up with any it won't be a long list.

excuse me, but is that not what politicians do? How many times, for example, did Saint Ronnie send his flunkies up to congress to lie for him? He claimed, under oath, after he left office, that he had no recollection of the Iran Contra illegal activities. Not that they didn't happen, but he just didn't recall. His successor, GHW Bush said he heard nothing about it even though the white house records show he was with Reagan at the meetings where the plot was discussed. Clinton lied when, well, never mind, he always lied. W said, well, never mind.

I find it positively bizarre that all the righties are so shocked that O lies. It is part of the job description folks, and only a dunderhead thinks the other guys do it and his heroes don't.

Next thing you know they will be crying in alarm about Nascar drivers speeding.

Obama, though, is one of the greatest examples in my lifetime (a long one I might add) to give the populace a chance to see just how gullible and naive they can be regards political power and big government.

His language lately is just appalling. I don't think I've heard junior high kids or high school groupies banter like this. The guy is willing to speak publicly no different than he would arguing and foaming at the mouth over beers at a TGIF gathering. And he makes it sound like he's pontificating the most serious matters on earth, all grounded as level as vetted scientific papers -- when in fact it's just opinion and points of view.

Let this presidency be a lesson in politics and political power. It's scary to think with this much open communication so many really do buy into everything he and Jay Carney and Harry Reid say and present.

No reality check when it comes to use of language. But I can tell you this... a person's choice of words tells everything. And at this level of public office, manners, demeanor, body language, word usage, delivery and presence ...means everything.

But today we are a population jaded by social media and are unable to differentiate nuances of presentation. Scary. We are not that far removed from being led down a truly ignorant path by totalitarian rule.

If a majority really fall for Obama to this degree... the next step is falling for Emporer Palpatine (Star Wars).

On matters of lying... replay his position back to his days as a Senator, and in his campaigns for 2008 run for President. Today he is on the opposite side of a lot that he stood for previously.

That is not unusual in public office. And more often, it is the standard. Political power corrupts the judgment.

But usually one's posture and language is a give-away in matters of sincerity and genuineness.

But today, the public is far less able to differentiate and distinguish anything. They can be lied to and really don't care.

Emotions rule. Very little else. Obama is a good example of just how much you can get away with. So we'll see.

It says more about the stupidity of the american people than anything else. We continue to elect idiots that do the absolute worst job.

What is really really sad is that almost the entire country has almost no concept of personal responsibility. Free cell phones, free food, free housing, free healthcare, free free free. The sense of entitlement is beyond compare.

If you lie, lie big and lie often.........works like a charm when the voting public is looking forSanta Claus.

also works nicely when you are pandering to the fears and greed of the upper and upper middle classes

the cost of the safety net is a bargain compared to the cost of the thievery in the defense industry

I'm not really buying that. I've lived a long time and read history from before my time. People have been flim-flammed and flin flamming since Biblical times. One thing that has declined is professional journalism. Used to be big newspapers could hire and keep good journalist working hard. Now in the environment where a lot of people who get paid to deliver content are paid to deliver partisan spin. (Love or hate Rush Limbaugh, he's not looking to give you the facts and let you make your own judgement like say Edward R. Murrow or Walter Cronkite did back in the day.) In an environment where the internet is awash with amateurish amateurs or partisan hacks, you don't have so many folks really reporting the truth without fear or favor.
