Preferential treatment given to Indiana?

There is nothing whatsoever logical when it comes to how the NCAA chooses to enforce its rules.

Somehow I think if you replaced every occurrence of the words "Indiana" and "Hoosiers" in the NCAA's report with, say, "Baylor" and "Bears," the penalties would have been much more severe.

With the recent uproar over coaches being "immune" to the infractions while the universities get hammered I think what happened at Indiana is pretty realistic. I think their comments meant that since Indiana was at the same level or worse than before Sampson's arrival his actions had no positive effect on the program.
